We recognize that the overall quality of our services is inextricably linked to the relationship between the organization and its staff: (1) how it supports them to do their work and (2) how it values and recognizes their contributions.
Therefore, we believe a robust recognition and wellness program is integral to creating a motivated, high-performing and engaged workforce. We have embedded recognition at all levels of the organization and on an ongoing basis. For example, the “You’re A Superstar” card that staff can fill out and send to their fellow colleagues or the “Breakfast with Bruce” initiative where high-performing staff are invited to breakfast with Cota’s CEO to provide feedback and generate new ideas.
Similarly, our wellness program focuses on (1) fostering more social connectedness through team and/or organization-wide events and (2) providing helpful links and resources every month in a newsletter publication.
STAFF ReCOGNITION ANNUAL END-OF YEAR EVENT
In the past year, we were able to enhance our benefit program by adding medical cannabis to our coverage and increasing the age of eligibility for benefits from 70-75.
